SeaKite® blends into the yacht’s design without altering its aesthetics. The KiteBox, traction plate, and all components can be discreetly installed on or under the foredeck, depending on your yacht’s configuration. Installation is quick with very few modifications required: the system adapts to the yacht.

DeoJuvante
The very first client to place their trust in us and equip their yacht with a SeaKite kite propulsion system was Belgian yachtsman Thierry Verstraete and his family, who are currently sailing around the world aboard the Deo Juvante.
A 25-meter all-aluminum motor yacht that we equipped with a fully automated 25 m² SeaKite yachting system.
The SeaKite
The SeaKite is a one-of-a-kind catamaran. It is the first in the world to be powered exclusively by kite! It is equipped with 50, 100, and 200 m² systems, which are already capable of towing vessels up to 90 meters in length.
What does the system consist of?

The kite (propulsion):
A large-span, fully automated wing that harnesses wind energy to partially replace engine propulsion, thereby reducing fuel consumption and associated emissions.

The Plate and KiteBox (hardware):
A mechatronic module installed on board, enabling automated deployment, control, and retrieval of the kite. Compact and durable, it can be easily integrated on different types of decks.
- The HMI (software): An intelligent routing system that optimizes the kite’s trajectory according to wind conditions. It enables assisted navigation, accessible to any crew, with measurable energy savings.
