⚓️Installation of the #SeaKite system on the Forbin by Geogas Maritime S.A.S
👉 The Beyond The Sea team traveled to the Netherlands at the end of January to prepare for the installation of our #SeaKite system on board the Forbin, an LPG tanker owned by Geogas Maritime S.A.S. The continuation of the installation of our system will take place in the summer of 2024 without impacting its operations. The first kite traction tests will take place before the end of 2024.
We are proud and happy about this first commercial installation as part of a co-development partnership on a merchant ship. We thank Geogas Maritime S.A.S for their trust and pioneering spirit in service of decarbonizing the maritime sector. We also thank Shipyard Reimerswaal for their valuable collaboration.
