power configurations available
The SeaKite® automated kite traction solution is available in different power configurations, suited to different vessel profiles and operational needs: SeaKite® 300, SeaKite® 600 and SeaKite® 2400. These different ratings allow us to equip any type of vessel from 18 to 400 meters: fishing vessels, workboats or merchant ships.
Following a performance and implementation study, we offer shipowners the SeaKite® solution best suited to their operational needs, their fleet and their traction requirements.
SeaKite® 300 is designed for vessels over 18 meters. With its 50 m² kite wing (100 m² optional), the system can generate a maximum traction of 5 tonnes, or 300 kW.
SeaKite® 600 is specially designed for vessels over 30 meters. With its 100 m² kite wing (200 m² optional), the system can generate a maximum traction of 10 tonnes, or 600 kW.
SeaKite® 2400 is designed for vessels over 100 meters. With its 400 m² kite wing (800 m² optional), the system can generate a maximum traction of 40 tonnes, or 2400 kW.
The system’s simple and compact design allows it to be integrated into the vast majority of vessels with minimal impact. Adaptability and respect for the vessel’s functions are the watchwords of the development phases, carried out in close collaboration with shipowners.
