Beyond the Sea, a human-sized company based on the Bay of Arcachon, is a start-up founded in 2014 by Yves Parlier, a sailor with multiple ocean racing victories.
Today, the company develops and markets kites for towing pleasure boats, the LibertyKite®. This kite brings safety to sailors, enabling them to return to port in the event of engine failure or dismasting. What’s more, thanks to fuel savings, it also provides the autonomy needed for transoceanic voyages. At the same time, the start-up is developing SeaKite®, an automatic kite-piloting system designed for larger vessels such as pleasure craft, trawlers and merchant navy freighters, which will eventually make substantial savings in fossil fuels and reduce greenhouse gas emissions!

YOUR PROFILE
Student in a Master’s degree / school / BTS or DUT in business / international trade:
You are looking for a work-study program or an empowering internship,
You have some initial experience in the nautical sector,
You are familiar with the Pack Office,
You’re autonomous, curious and have good interpersonal skills,
You’re known for your dynamism, your interest in sales and you enjoy working in a team,
You have a keen interest in the boating industry.
Knowledge of sailing/kiting would be a plus.
MISSIONS
As a sales assistant on an internship or work-study program for our innovative LibertyKite® product, you will be assisting our sales team in their work. In this context, you will be required to:
- Sell LibertyKites® ;
- Prospect potential customers: by telephone, e-mail, in person;
- Participate in order processing (preparation, dispatch and tracking of deliveries, destocking);
- Build customer loyalty, monitor customer portfolio and existing network;
- You will also participate in the development of LibertyKite® market share:
- Identifying new development channels and canvassing marine industry players;
- Conducting competitive intelligence.
