OUR COMPANY :
Beyond The Sea, a human-sized company based in the Bay of Arcachon, is a start-up created in 2007 by Yves Parlier, a sailor with multiple ocean racing victories.
Today, the company develops and markets kites for the traction of pleasure boats, the LibertyKite®.
This kite brings safety to yachtsmen by enabling them to reach the port in the event of engine failure. In addition, thanks to the fuel savings achieved, it also provides great autonomy.
Its use can also be more fun!
At the same time, the start-up is developing an autopilot system for its kites designed to tow larger boats such as trawlers and merchant navy cargo ships, which will eventually lead to fuel savings of 20%!
Through its programme, Beyond The Sea is therefore offering innovative solutions, at the cutting edge of technology, perfectly in line with the “Blue Growth” strategy, which aims at sustainable development and growth of the marine and maritime sectors, in the search for environmental preservation.
